Bringing a breath of fresh air to the VRF Market

In recent years, the commercial Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) market has been going from strength to strength, delivering around 12% growth. It is clear to see why, as VRF systems are easy to fit and maintain, saving time and therefore money on installations.

Consultants, contractors, architects and specifiers within the building services industry are often challenged with recommending and installing flexible heating and cooling systems that maximise efficiency, so we are excited to offer our VRF range to the market that is accompanied with a first class after-sales support service.

Bosch Climate 5000 VRF

Reacting to tightening regulations and rising energy costs, the new VRF range’s continuous heating capability allows each module to provide a constant source of heat while simultaneously performing a defrost cycle in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 48 °C, which is vital for keeping room space at an optimum temperature. Innovative patented air cooling technology in the inverter module also allows for more effective cooling of electrical components for better all-round performance and temperatures as low as 8°C. Our systems also respond to fluctuations in space-load conditions so that energy and money can be saved during part-load systems.

Monitoring performance

The industry is also challenged with how to effectively monitor the performance of more than one site. For example, Facilities Managers who may look after multiple sites need the ability to access information remotely or on the move. Understanding this, we offer a control system which allows users to remotely access our systems and receive text message alerts should the system encounter an error, helping to streamline the process of site visits.

The technology can benefit landlords by updating users with proportion usage charges and providing energy saving tips and hints. This helps tenants to receive a more representative energy bill without the need for additional monitoring visits.

Many consultants and contractors are familiar with Bosch but associate our name with heating rather than cooling. Following our introduction to the UK air conditioning market, we aim to deliver a complete heating and cooling solution to those of you who need it, providing support from the beginning of a project right through to the commissioning stage and even beyond. Our availability as a point of contact throughout the product’s entire lifespan will ensure that energy efficient heating and cooling will stand the test of time for many years to come.
