The double-flame tube design of the UT-HZ offers total flexibility in the high power range from 13,000 to 38,000 kW at up to 30 bar. Two independent firing units and flue gas paths create a double control range for individual heat consumption.

Benefits

The UT-HZ produces consistently efficient heating and process heat, particularly in partial load ranges. By combining it with a flue gas heat exchanger or condensing heat exchanger, and combustion optimising components, you can further improve efficiency and lower running costs. The special Bosch thermal insulation also contributes to the high efficiency.

The double-flame tube design enables complete separation of both flue gas paths and firing units. This doubles the modulation range and protects the burner through continuous operation as well as significantly lower activation and deactivation cycles. The UT-HZ easily meets dynamic output requirements in both summer and winter months.

Its high load flexibility and temperature up to 225 °C are proven for process heating applications and district heating grids. The UT-HZ comes quality-tested as a system and is quick to install compared to water-tube boilers. Additionally, single-flame tube operation offers the advantages of a system with two boilers while requiring less space and investment.

The UT-HZ is compatible with various fuels and can be combined with multi-fuel burners. Additional solutions for low NOx, hydrogen, biofuels or green electricity sustainably reduce CO2 emissions and protect the environment. The climate-neutral fuel design can be implemented either at the factory or later for retrofitting.

Bosch supplies the UT-HZ as a complete system with a burner, equipment, components and control cabinet. The BCO and SCO control systems are pre-configured for your application with a high level of automation and seamless integration in your process control system. The optional MEC Remote access allows you to effectively monitor your system.

In the proven design of the UT-HZ, the flame tubes are connected to the boiler body on both sides with separated reversing chamber. This enables even distribution of stresses in the boiler and substantially increases the service life and robustness. The result is a reliable German-made heat and process heat generation system from Bosch.
