Issue 1 Topic Release notes ACC MT Description Air Center Controller with Touch Display Software Version: 0.1.0 (initial LDR software version) Release date: Hardware Version: SNR 8 733 502 082 These release notes show an overview about the current status of the software including limitations and known issues of ACC MT software version 0.1.0., as well as the hardware status and limitations. Software Status Feature Overview First initial version of the Air Center Controller with Touch Display to control Bosch Air Flux VRF systems: - Control multiple refrigerant systems with up to 64 IDUs or up 256 IDUs using the optional expansion board - Group IDUs - Schedule operation with weekly and seasonal schedules - Define exception days for schedules - Monitor system parameters - Manage floorplans - View system errors human readable and view error history - Create users with different permission levels - Support 9 native languages (English, Turkish, Spanish, German, Portuguese, French, Polish, Russian, Kazakh) - Update Air Center Controller remotely or via manual software download Issue Summary The 0.1.0 software version of the ACC MT has some reproducible and unreproducible issues. Many of them will be solved with the next SW release, so the SW on the ACC MT should be updated then. General Issues: - ACC MT might show a white screen and does not respond to any user inputs in some rare and not reproducible cases. Resolution: Restart the ACC MT using the restart button on the left site where the USB port is located or plug out and plug in the power supply again. - The on-screen keyboard is preselected with English keyboard layout. Other keyboard layouts for different language have to be selected each time manually. Resolution: Access the keyboard setting via the globe icon on the keyboard and select another keyboard layout from the scrollable list. - Insert USB flash drive for floorplans and software updates: The ACC MT might not recognize the USB flash drive. Resolution: Try to access the USB flash drive again. Scan VRF systems - The scan result might be displayed incorrectly which means the scan is displayed as “failed” but scan was successful. Resolution: If scan is displayed as “failed”. Log out and log in again and access system structure to check scan result manually again. If scan was not successful check VRF system status for other possible reasons and restart ACC MT to repeat scan. Import Floorplans: - Import specific pictures as a floorplan. For some picture files with a high resolution (>5000 px.) or superior color depth (>24 bit) the ACC is not able to import the picture file. In this scenario the ACC MT shows a white screen and does not respond to any user input. Resolution: Restart the ACC MT using the restart button on the left site where the USB port is located or plug out and plug in the power supply again. Reduce the resolution or color depth of the picture file manually using a picture editing program on an external computer (compressing a jpeg is not enough). - Importing floorplan pictures: Only the first 100 picture files on removable media connected to the ACC MT are shown in the import window. Resolution: Ensure there are maximum 100 picture files saved on the removable media. - Importing floorplan pictures when ACC MT is used the first time or after factory reset. In this scenario the ACC MT doesn’t show the picture but a small placeholder icon only. Resolution: After log out and log in the user the floor plan pictures are shown again. Schedules: - Rename a schedule. It is not possible to rename an existing schedule. Resolution: Delete the schedule and create a new one using the new name. - Schedule execution while an indoor unit is offline which is assigned to the schedule. In this scenario the execution of the schedules fails, if any indoor unit which is assigned to the schedule is not reachable by the ACC MT. The settings defined in the schedules are not applied to any indoor unit. - Yearly repetition of schedules is not displayed in the calendar: If yearly repetition is enabled, the schedule markup is only visible for the first year in the calendar display. Nevertheless, the schedule will be executed yearly. - Overlapping schedules: If a schedule is already enabled it is not possible to create a second schedule with overlapping periods and assign IDUs to the second schedule. Network settings: - Set DNS (Domain Name System) server address. The user specified DNS server address is not restored after a restart of the ACC MT. In this case the automatic DNS server address is used. If the network configuration requires a manual DNS server address configuration there might be issues in the network connection of the ACC MT. Resolution: If the network configuration requires a manual DNS server configuration the configuration has to be repeated after rebooting the ACC MT. Time and date settings: - After setting time and date the ACC MT might log out the current user session. Resolution: Log in again after setting time and date. - Set 12hrs. time format: The time format setting is not restored after a restart of the ACC MT. System monitor: - In system monitor tab for outdoor units (ODU) the current valve positions SV1 – SV8 are shown incorrectly (always on). Error manager: - If many VRF devices get an error in a short interval e.g. an outdoor unit gets an error and all connected indoor units show a respective error: The ACC MT might not show all errors in event and fault history immediately or the status LED on the front cover might not show the error state immediately by turning to red. Resolution: Check the error status again after 5 minutes. - In the event and fault history it is possible to sort the events and faults with an ascending or descending order for different categories by clicking on the column heads. This sorting function is working only once. Resolution: Access the event and fault history again and sort the list again to get the preferred order. Features which are not enabled in ACC MT 0.1.0 version and will require a software update: 1. Local web browser access: The user interface ACC MT cannot been reached by another computer in the local network using a web browser. 2. Send E-Mail alerts: It is not possible to define E-Mail notification to get updates for the error status of the VRF system. 3. Show physical indoor unit groups which are connected to the same ARC C. Contact In case of facing abnormalities and limitations which are not recoverable by the resolutions offered in this document please contact your regional sales department. Hardware Status The current devices with serial number 8 733 502 082 do not include the expansion board. The function PoE+ (Power over Ethernet) is not yet available. The devices can only be supplied using the power supply included in the package.
